Creative ideas and innovations for the children's room of tomorrow are the center of attention at Kind + Jugend. This is why the Kids Design Award, which distinguishes the best concepts and drafts of young designers from all over the globe, is being presented again this year during the trade fair. Find out who the ten nominees of this year's Kids Design Award are.
The Kids Design Award is traditionally presented on the first day of the trade fair. It distinguishes young designers as well as design students for their product concepts, ideas, designs and prototypes that are not yet commercially available. A total of 65 young designers from 25 countries worldwide have applied for a nomination with their submitted items. The ten nominees, from among which the independent jury from the design, industry and educational sectors will ultimately select the winner for the best product idea or prototype in 2019, have now been confirmed. In addition to winning the award, the nominated designers have the chance of being chosen for a product sponsorship by selected representatives of industry and commerce. These support the young designers in further developing their product to market maturity.
