The easy admission process for Kind + Jugend in three steps

1. You buy a ticket or redeem your digital ticket code

  • Please register in the Ticket Shop and create your new Koelnmesse account. These access data are also valid for access to the trade fair app.
  • In the Ticket Shop, you can buy your ticket or redeem your digital ticket code.

2. You will receive an email with the ticket PDF

  • We will send you an order confirmation with the tickets as a PDF attachment. The tickets will also be available for download in the wallet of your respective device.
  • You can access your trade fair tickets at any time through "My Orders" in the ticket shop. With your printed ticket or with the ticket as a PDF/in the wallet of your mobile device, you will gain access to the exhibition grounds.

... or convenient and paperless: Use the app
With the app, you can easily and quickly retrieve your tickets digitally. Additionally, you will have access to up-to-date information about the event program (including search functionality), the venue, and more. Even after the event, you will be provided with relevant content and networking opportunities.


Our tip: Schedule appointments with your industry network for the event at least 3 months in advance. This can be easily and quickly done using the integrated calendar feature. You can find more good reasons to use the app here.


Of course, the app is free for you and is available for download for iPhone/iPad and Android in German and English.

3. Arrive at Kind + Jugend

  • With your printed ticket or with the ticket as PDF or in the app of your mobile device you get access to the fairground.

Travel ticket

You will receive your free travel ticket in a separate e-mail.

The free travel ticket (2nd class) is valid for public transport in the expanded network of the Rhein Sieg Transportoperated by the Rhein Sieg Transport Authority (VRS) .

Exempted are trains of the Deutsche Bahn AG subject to a surcharge, e.g. the IC/EC or ICE.

The public transport ticket only provides authorization for arrival and departure in the context of a visit to Koelnmesse GmbH within the indicated period of the trade fair. It is non-transferable and only valid in connection with a valid photo identification and an admission ticket of Koelnmesse GmbH.

Access authorization

Trade visitor
The Kind + Jugend is a trade fair. Koelnmesse GmbH reserves the right to conduct suitable trade visitor inspections on site.

Children and youths
Children up to 12 years of age are not admitted to the entire exhibition grounds. Children from 13 to 16 are admitted only when accompanied by an adult and pay the normal price for an admission ticket.

Accompanying pets
It is prohibited to bring dogs and other pets to our fair grounds.
